To commemorate the Independence Day, the deputy minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Eka Dgebuadze, together with the director of "GlobalCell", George Khetsuriani, and local representatives, visited the villages of Tsitelubani and Khurvaleti and gifted tablets to the local school students.

GlobalCell donated 150 units of a special model tablet adapted for school education complete free of charge.

The integration of modern technologies in the learning process is one of the priorities of the Ministry. The introduction of online distance learning methods during the pandemic has become one of the most effective ways to continuously deliver and continue learning. That is why the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is trying its best to provide access to online learning for all students across the country.

Against the background of the current challenges, when the world distance learning method is implemented, the implementation of such projects is especially important for Georgian students to have access to technology in the first stage of learning.

Considering the current situation in the country and the global crisis caused by the pandemic, it is of paramount importance to instill cooperation and solidarity between the state and the private sector. GlobalCell has shown an exemplary public solidarity by providing the tablets to schoolchildren who live along the occupation line.
