Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, along with the representatives of the company “Gogli-Mogli” opened another modern canteen in the Public School №53 in the scope of the project, initiated by the President. Popular actor, Duta Skhirtladze visited the school in the scope of the event as well.

Refurbishment of the canteens is being held in the Safe School concept. Renovation works were commenced in several pilot schools in the previous year and nowadays, works are successfully carried out. Companies “Mega-Food” and “Golgi-Mogli” equipped and renovated the canteens. These companies provide the schools with the fresh food.

Calculation in the modern canteens is being held with the credit cards. TaoPrivatBank provided the schoolchildren with the credit cards free of charge.  Parents will transfer desired sum on the cards and the schoolchildren will be able to use them only in the school canteens. This opportunity decrease disagreement between the children concerning cash. Abolishing cash and introducing credit cards is one of the top priorities of the Safe School and is aimed to develop safe and healthy school concept.
