In 2010, 105 bachelor students and 39 MA students are graduating from the School of Business while 134 bachelor and 3 MA students – from the School of Law of Georgian American University.

Minister Awarded Olympians
Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini awarded the winning team of Georgia at the International Mathematical Olympiad with prizes and diplomas. Team of Georgia that was composed with 6 schoolchildren received two silver and two bronze medals and two Diplomas of Honor at 51st International Mathematical Olympiad IMO 2010.

Discussion of Teachers’ Professional Ethics Code Still Continues
Public Board, established by the initiative of the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini discussed the draft plan of teachers’ professional ethics code. Opinions and notes of the members of the board will be considered in the final version of the code.

Batumi State Maritime Academy Was Presented with Training Ship “Academy”

Refurbishing Public School Canteens in compliance with modern standards still continues. New project will be piloted in Tbilisi Public Schools №55 and №43. Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and Minister of Finance, Kakha Baindurashvili opened modern canteen in Public School №43.

Full scale Testing of General Education Exams Launched
Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and Director of National Examination Center, Maia Miminoshvili visited Tbilisi Public School №57.  Pre-testing among 11th graders is held in this school in order to define minimal competency level for 2011 General Education Exams.
