The
schoolchildren from various public schools pay visits to the National Forensics
Bureau on a daily basis to get acquainted with the activities of the
institutions. The mentioned initiative is jointly implemented by the Ministry
and the Bureau.

Organizational group has been created at the Ministry of Education and
Science of Georgia. The group will handle the issues of High School
Leaving and Unified National Exams. Today, meeting of the
organizational exams was held. All questions concerning the exams were
discussed during the meeting.

Registration
for a new wave of the participants in the “Georgia for Future Success” program
started. The process will end by June 20, 2012. A new group of the teachers
will commence their activities in the ethnic minority regions from September

of Georgia is building a new school in village Shibliani, Sagarejo
Municipality. Construction works are implemented by the Educational and
Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

School Resource Officers together
with Deputy Minister of Finance Grigol Baiburti visited the street children
rehabilitation center “Beghurebi”. At the moment, 25 homeless
children live in the center. The guests presented them with books, sweets,
cloths.

Native English-Speaking Teachers continue to arrive to Georgia as participants
of the educational program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” (TLG). Today, a
new group of teachers arrived from Australia, USA, South Affrica, Philippines,
Ireland and Mexico.

National Center for Teacher Professional Development
organizes trainings for the teachers of all subjects. Training modules are
developed in the way that answers requirements of modern teacher. During the
trainings teachers take pre and post tests and get prepared for the
Certification exams.

In the scope of the program
“Summer Jobs”, Ministry of Agriculture will employ 300 students. Today,
Minister of Agriculture Zaza Kartozia, First Deputy Minister of Education and
Science of Georgia Akaki Sepherteladze together with students visited
green-house in village Tserovani.

From May 7, 2500 socially vulnerable students have started studying at
vocational colleges throughout Georgia. They were granted with 1000 GEL worth
vouchers, which gave them the opportunity to choose the vocational college upon
their interest and master new profession.

awarding ceremony of winners was held in the Youth Palace. The finalists were
awarded by the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and
