The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia Minister Tamar Sanikidze and Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Tariel Khechikashvili visited a completely renovated gym in 18 public school today.

Ministry of Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency completely renovated gym in crash in the 18 public school and it is one of the best today in Georgia. European level was made Bathrooms (including inclusive) and changing rooms.

It should be noted that public school 18 students are actively involved in sports activities and a variety of championships won several medals. And that's a graduate of the School Georgia team player Jaba Kankava. Accordingly, a new gym, the students will be able to get more victory to school.

It is also important that with the new national curriculum, at the primary level sports time is growing. The students will be trained "in physical education and sport" and instead of two lessons a week it will have three hours in a week. Special attention will be paid to the mobile games

The Ministry promotes appropriate development of sport in schools even by infrastructural projects. Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency renovated 87 sports halls in 2013-2015,  in which 10,164,509 Gel has been spent. At the same time, 22 sports stadiums were rehabilitated, which cost 1,887,738 GEL.

 in addition to the gym, other infrastructure projects were carried out in 18 public school, where 714 students are. Doctor's office is launched and an entirely new lighting system was installed.
