Based on the fairytale created by Frank Baum – “The Wizard of Oz" a musical staged by the students of Chiatura N1 public school. The English musical, which has been staged for many years on Broadway, was prepared with the help of The Peace Corps volunteers. The performance was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri, the representastives of the American Embassy and Peace Corps, as well as other honorary guests.
Students from almost every grade, the teachers of English language and literature, teachers of music and choreagraphers were involved in the implementation of the project in Chiatura N1 public school. The school received a great deal of help from the Chiatura National Theater.
