Parents of the kids with the limited abilities and the representatives of the organizations working with the issues related with the rights of the people with limited abilities today discusses a document regarding the rule of executing inclusive education at Georgian public schools.
Document has been prepared at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and will regulate the ongoing process regarding the inclusive education at public schools as well as will highlight the evaluation procedures for establishing and abolishing special educational needs as well as school teachers and special teachers’ responsibilities and competences.
The Division of Inclusive Education Development will discuss the notions and the recommendations which showed up while the presentation and will reflect upon them into the document. Document later will be regulated by the legislative act of the Minister.
Document has been processed by the Ministry of Education and Science Inclusive Educational Division with the support of UNICEF. Also various organizations, directors of the schools as well as the teachers and the specialized teachers and the members of the multidisciplinary groups were involved in the document preparation process.
