Within the scope of Georgia-Germany bilateral cooperation, according to the priorities outlined by the Georgian government, the Georgian Employers’ Association, with the support of the German government, is implementing the “Vocational Education and Teaching Project”, which aims at enhancing the adequate labor force on the market. The initial results of the above-mentioned project was held, which was attended by the first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ketevan Natriashvili.
Within the multi-year project framework, a “systematic database based on the human resources demand” was set up, in accordance with the teaching modules developed at the vocational educational institutions. These activities resulted, in creating a systematic study, with the ability to analyze the labor market development services, in conjunction with creating the enforcement mechanisms. This information is crucial for the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, based on the policy objectives of the vocational education.
The multi-year project to set up a "video on demand system database, a" work-based learning and educational institutions on teaching modules developed. These activities resulted in the near future within the association will be in personnel policy in the systematic study and analysis of comprehensive engagement will be established in the labor market development services and enforcement mechanisms. this information is important for the Ministry of education and Science of professional education policy objectives. Within the scope of Georgia-German cooperation, an additional important mechanisms will be created, which will play an important role in improving and developing the vocational education and supporting the labor market with qualified labor force.
With the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and with the support of the German government, and with the involvement of the Georgian Employers’ Association, a member companies of the Association will be studied, thus establishing their inclination, to cooperation with the state, for the process of implementing the dual vocational education.
