The Ministry, in cooperation with UNICEF and international experts, strengthens regulations to prevent students from staying out of school

For the first time, a mechanism to monitor the involvement of students in the learning process has been put in place to prevent students from falling behind. The Ministry of Education and Science has enacted regulations requiring schools to respond in the event of a student not attending classes.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulated the participants of the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad

Georgia hosted the 10th European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO 2021). Ana Onoprishvili, a 12th grade student of Tbilisi Public School N199, won a gold medal at the virtually held Olympiad, organized at Akaki Tsereteli State University. The remote Olympiad comprised of 213 representatives from 54 countries.
