Bureau. Bureau elections are held once in every two
years and representatives of all member countries are eligible for
World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated on the 2nd of April. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze visited pupils with autism spectrum disorders in Public School 166 and presented gifts to them.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and Minister of Research and Science of Upper-Austria Doris Hammer signed a memorandum and expressed their readiness to deepen partnership in science and higher education.
122 pilot public school principals’ training is under way on the topic “innovative methods of teaching and class monitoring” within the Primary Education Project (G-priEd). This project has been implemented from March 24, 2014 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the US International Development Agency (USAID).
A meeting was held at MCC, the members of the Georgian delegation Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Deputy Minister Giorgi Sharvashidze, Giorgi Tabuahsvili, First Deputy Minister of Finance and Magda Maghradze, Executive Director of MCA-Georgia were hosted by Daniel Johannes, Executive Director of MCC and Vice President Cameron Cann.
Visit of the Georgian delegation to the United State continues. Members of the Delegation – Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Deputy Minister Giorgi Sharvashidze, Giorgi Tabuashvili, First Deputy Minister of Finance and other members of the delegation held a working meeting with John Harley, Vice President of CDRF Global, directors and managers of the programs.
Presentation of a book collection “Open the Door” was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University under the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and within the project “Writers for Human Rights”.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Alexander Chikaidze and Deputy Minister of Education Lia Gigauri visited Public School 14 as a part of an anti-drug campaign. Alexander Chikaidze used to go to this school.
