Within the scope of his visit to London, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, held a meeting with Ihsan Kader, Director of Research at Times Higher Education.
The meeting focused on discussing concrete strategies for the practical implementation of the Georgian-British Transnational Education Guide and explored future avenues and prospects for collaboration.
Minister Tsuladze emphasized that the Guide, developed based on research conducted by Times Higher Education and aligned with Georgia’s national priorities, outlines targeted actions to strengthen academic partnerships between Georgian and British universities. He noted that these efforts will play a key role in further deepening educational cooperation between the two countries.
In accordance with Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Ministry’s goal is to ensure that both Georgian and international students have the opportunity to obtain high-quality British education and qualifications without ever leaving Georgia. To support this vision, the Ministry is actively working to create the necessary conditions for the effective implementation of the Transnational Education Guide.
In response, Ihsan Kader, Director of Research at Times Higher Education, praised Georgia’s efforts to advance transnational education and expressed his strong willingness to continue collaborating with the Georgian side.
The meeting was also attended by Baia Kvitsiani, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and Zaza Purtseladze, Director of the British Council Georgia Office.
Notably, Times Higher Education, in collaboration with the Ministry and the British Council, conducted an in-depth study on transnational education, which formed the basis for the development of the Transnational Education Guide.
As part of his visit to London, Minister Tsuladze is set to present the Guide to key stakeholders and other interested parties.
