Liberty Bank Implements the Safe and Healthy School Project Most Successfully
Liberty Bank joined the project Safe and Healthy School in April 2010. According to the current data, the Bank implements it most successfully. In the frame of the project, Liberty Bank has already provided around 30,000 schoolchildren with the credit cards and they are able to use them only on the school territory.

Resource Officers Donated Blood
Resource Officers donated blood for the children with cancer in Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital. Around 100 Resource Officers gave blood to the children. Given blood will be used for the patients of Onco-Hematological Department of the Hospital. Any child with cancer from different hospitals will be able to receive blood.

The schoolchildren of the Public School №55 held a match in Volleyball. The 8th graders participated in the final match. The competition is held in the scope of sports lessons. In the scope of the program ALUMNI, initiated by the President, refurbishment of the public schools is being held. The program is successfully implemented in the regional schools and public schools of Tbilisi.

Presentation of CAT Exam Model was Held at MES
For the first time in Georgia, 2010-2011 High School exams will be held through the so called CAT exam model. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini and Director of the National Examination Center, Maia Miminoshvili introduced the sample of electronic test to around 200 12th graders and answered their questions on the High School exams.

In the scope of the program Teach and Learn With Georgia, 8th group of foreign teachers arrived in Georgia. They will be distributed in Samtskhe-Javakheti region in order to teach the local schoolchildren English language.

Optics Company Roniko has launched exclusive program for the certified teachers with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The first campaign was held in the scope of the program that envisages free eyesight diagnostics and 40% sale on the optical eyeglasses and optical lenses.
