Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Giorgi Amilakhvari visited the newly rehabilitated public school in Gori to observe the ongoing infrastructure improvements and assess the situation on-site. Accompanying him were Anri Okhanashvili, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Issues of the Parliament of Georgia, and Giorgi Sosiashvili, majoritarian MP for Gori and Kaspi.

The ceremony for the National Teacher Prize was held at the Zakaria Paliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theater in Tbilisi.
