As part of his official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia Givi Mikanadze, was hosted by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.
The two sides discussed bilateral projects and future plans based on the strategic partnership between Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation in the fields of education and science.
During the meeting, the importance of the high-level political cooperation and the historical friendship between the two countries was highlighted.
Givi Mikanadze expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for Azerbaijan’s strong and unwavering support for Georgia.
In turn, Ali Asadov congratulated Givi Mikanadze on his appointment as Minister and reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s readiness to implement joint educational and scientific projects.
Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, also attended the meeting.
