Americans gift to Gori #4 public school
Infrastructural projects have been carried out at Gori #4 public school, which was funded by The US Defense Department s European Command and was carried out by The US Embassy s Office of Defense Cooperation.

English language summer school is over
The project initiated by the Ministry of Education and science of Georgia – ‘’English Language Summer School in Georgia’’ finished successfully. The project took place in Tskneti, on the base of Buckswood International school -Tbilisi and lasted for three months.

Telavi municipal schools are preparing for the new school year
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science are getting acquainted with preparation process for the new academic year in the region. This time, several schools of Telavi were visited by the first deputy minister-Qetevan Natriashvili and the deputy minister-Lia Gigauri in order to get introduced the textbooks for the pupils to be transferred.

Tbilisi #151 public school is preparing for the new academic year
By the new academic year, almost 1200 students of Tbilisi #151 public school will have renovated gym with the modern facilities. Renovation has been done with the school halls, conference room, and the library. For the students with the special needs has been built the universally designed pavements, and the adapted gym.

Industrial innovation laboratories will be arranged in community colleges (FABLAB)
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia within the cooperation with Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia is planning to establish Industrial Innovation laboratories (FABLAB) throughout the community colleges. Another workshop was held on this topic.

Preparation for the new academic year
The preparation for the new academic year is in its active phase. In most of the public schools infrastructural projects are underway. Basically, current guidance books sorting is completed and along with the new academic year all pupils here as well as in other public schools will receive a full package of textbooks.

First-graders registration s additional deadlines announced
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia determined deadlines for First-graders registration from April 23, 2015 to July 11, 2015 for 2015-2016 academic years. The registration was divided in 3 stages and nowadays 46600 first-graders are registered in public and private schools of Tbilisi.

In Isani-Samgori district are being built a new school designed for 1000 students
103th school in numerous Metromsheni settlement is being built. The Tbilisi city hall is building a new school designed for 1000 students instead of the demolished old one. A 2015 bachelor’s graduation ceremony has been held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Around 3000 students degreed bachelor’s department at STU in 2014-2015. Yet another international success of Georgian pupils
Members of Georgian national team in mathematics (6 participants) have returned from 56th International Mathematics Olympiad 2015 (Thailand, Chiang Mai) with 4 medals and 1 diploma. Zaur Meshveliani (N199 Komarov Public School in physics and mathematics) has won silver medal. It should be noted that in previous Olympiad he also was awarded with silver medal.

By the initiative of N54 public school of Tbilisi, Demonstration for Kindness was held and dedicated to the tragedy of June13. Akaki Week Has Started
2015 is 175th anniversary from birth and 100th anniversary from death of a great Georgia poet and public figure Akaki Tsereteli. Almost all educational institutions celebrate this important event across Georgia. Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is one of them. It holds a week dedicated to Akaki Tsereteli.
