Georgian age and national team teams are a force to be reckoned with at the European and World Championships, the Olympics, and are constantly fighting for prizes.
Ekaterine Pipia's championship at the World School Championship and Nia Dongvan's bronze medal are immensely gratifying to me – that is in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic with the reduced sports activities, the girls managed to make Georgian chess fans happy.
