The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia continues to monitor various educational institutions. This time, deputy Minister, Tamar Kitiashvili visited Rustavi Vocational College "Modusi" and got personally acquainted with the work done to prevent the spread of the virus. Rustavi Mayor - Irakli Tabagua was also present with the Deputy Minister.
Since March 1, the training process at Modusi college has resumed in gradual stages: the process of confirming the results of various professional programs is also underway, short-term certificate courses was resumed, and soon the training process will be resumed in full compliance with the recommendations developed by the Ministry of Health.
Modusi College implements vocational programs with the involvement of local businesses, taking into account the needs of the region: electricity, welding, gardening, information technology, cooking, sewing and more. During the current period, the college has successfully passed the authorization and gained the right to implement several new vocational programs.
In the field of internationalization, the college recently signed memoranda of cooperation with vocational colleges in Daugavpils (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania).
In addition, Tamar Kitiashvili introduced the new director, Pavle Tvaliashvili, to the staff of the college.
