To commemorate the Georgian Language Day, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, held an online meeting with the trainers of the State Language Teaching and Integration Program and presented certificates of appreciation for the fruitful work completed during the pandemic.
The state language teaching and integration program is organized by LEPL Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration. It is noteworthy that 55 trainers of the program successfully switched to distance learning mode after the announcement of the pandemic and ensured continuous access to education services.
In his speech, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulated the public on the Georgian Language Day and recalled one of the most important dates in the modern history of Georgia - the events of 42 years ago.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “Taking good care of the Georgian language is our main duty. We will do everything in our power to preserve this valuable heritage and help everyone who wishes to learn Georgian. I would like to congratulate everyone on this day!”
Mikheil Chkhenkeli noted that the people working in the education system during the pandemic showed an outstanding dedication and ensured continuous access to the education services. The Minister thanked the personnel of the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration for their fruitful work, dedication and professionalism.
Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration promotes the improvement of state language proficiency throughout the country and the integration of representatives of national minorities. The state language teaching and integration program is available to any interested individual who wishes to study the Georgian language or further enhance their knowledge in this area.
