The Public-Private Partnership Forum was held at Spektri Vocational College, with the participation of the business sector, government organizations, international partners and other stakeholders.
As part of the event, an exhibition was held for schoolchildren and those wishing to receive vocational education about the professions that can be studied at college. The exhibitors also got acquainted with the information stands of partner business organizations.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili, who said that the interest and involvement of business in vocational education is significantly increased. Additionally, discussions were held on the development prospects of the college and the launch of new joint engineering / construction projects.
Most of the vocations in the multidisciplinary vocational school serve to revive and improve the qualifications of the construction direction, which envisages the training of qualified personnel in accordance with European standards using new teaching methods.
With the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and foreign partners, the college infrastructure and curriculum and technical programs have been significantly improved recently, which has allowed the school to introduce more than thirty new curricula.
