From the new academic year, the new, modern standard training base of the College "Blacksea" will receive the first students in Keda, where in the first stage a vocational program in beekeeping will be launched. The College will also offer training courses in Hospitality Management and Agriculture.
Within the framework of the working visit to Adjara region, Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, together with Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara inspected the new space for vocational education in Keda and personally got acquainted with the preparation process for the 2021-2022 academic year.
It is important to note that the main initiator of the modern vocational education infrastructure in Keda is the local mayor, who found the space, carried out the rehabilitation and handed it over to the college. Finally, the project was implemented by the joint efforts of the Government of Adjara, the local self-government and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
According to Tamar Kitiashvili, this is a different case when the municipality invests and spends resources on the development of vocational education infrastructure on the ground. According to her, this cooperation will continue and with joint efforts, the college "Blacksea" in Keda will offer a variety of programs to the young and adult population of Upper Adjara.
