Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Seperteladze and
Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, Gia
Mamulashvili held a briefing on the beginning of the registration of teacher
inductees.
According
to the “Rule of the Registration of the Teacher Inductees and Induction
Process”, willing teachers, who graduated from the higher educational
institutions and have appropriate qualification, are able to address any
educational resource center for the registration and get involved in the state
induction program that is being held in several cities of Georgia. The
selection commissions will choose the candidates. After passing one-year
induction process, inductees are able to take the certification exams and
obtain the right of teaching.
State
induction program is being carried out in Tbilisi, Gori, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe,
Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi public and private schools in 2010-2011 academic year
in following subjects: Georgian language and literature, mathematics, foreign
languages – English, German, French and Russian.
The
registration will last till October 5 at educational resource centers.
