The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini met Polish Undersecretary of State, National Ministry of Education Mr. Miroslaw Sielatycki and discussed potential areas of cooperation with the polish side.

The topics covered during the meeting include:

• Improvement of the school quality;
• Teachers’ professional training;
• Equal education opportunities;
• Introducing ICT technologies in the learning process.

Minister Shashkini provided the detailed information concerning ongoing reforms in the education system of Georgia. Miroslaw Sielatycki informed his Georgian colleague on Polish system of education and shared the best practices.

During the visit parties discussed potential fields of collaboration and agreed to support the study visits of schoolchildren in both countries.
