The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, and representatives of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia,” met with English language volunteer teachers who work at public schools in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kaspi, Khashuri, Sagarejo and Mtskheta.
The aim of the meeting with the Minister was to discuss ongoing developments, reforms and challenges in the education system, as well as the current activities and future goals of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”.
During the Q&A session, volunteer native English speaker teachers had the opportunity to ask questions to the Minister and TLG staff.
Similar meetings with the volunteer teachers are regularly held in all regions of Georgia.
