24,000 students who applied to
universities have passed the United National Examinations in 2012. Due to the
high level of competition within the full range of programs, some students who
passed the fixed limits and got high scores could not apply. Accordingly, there
are vacancies in different universities throughout Georgia.
For the first time in Georgia, there
were no secondary university applicants.
Due to a lack of information and experience, some students accidentally
chose only partial programs and could not apply to any universities. Considering
this, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia made the decision to
enable those students who passed the fixed limit and obtained high scores to
make another selection of programs, thus enabling them to apply.
For the attention of interested
candidates: renewed online registration will begin on September 11th
and last until September 14th. More detailed information will be
published on the web pages of the National Examination Center and the Ministry
of Education and Science.
