By the initiative of the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini, exhibition of school children paintings dedicated to International Children’s Day was held at the Ministry. Ambassador of Japan to Georgia Mr. Masayoshi Kamohara, representatives of American Councils, Peace Corps, USAID, World Bank and Diplomatic Corps, accredited in Georgia were among the honorable guests who visited the exhibition of the talented children.
Visitors of the exhibition particularly liked the workings of the school children of Tbilisi Public Schools №4, №47, №55, №123, №154 and №178: Sulkhan Pitskhelauri, Anastasia Akhvlediani, Khatia Papide, George Sisauri, Chimgiz Kurbanov, Ani Gegechkori and George Gognelasjvili.
According to the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, MES launches new program that envisages exhibiting paintings of talented school children one time a month at the Ministry. Any kind of school children encouragement will increase motivation among the children and give them opportunity to show their talent.
