
Georgian dancer - Maria Kazakova and Giorgi Revia were awarded
with the Grand Prix for the first time in the history of Georgia's spinning
fixture. They were able to win two silver medals and final round of Grand Prix
stages. The Grand Prix series in the category of juniors began in August,
comprising of seven stages, which finished on October 13 in the Armenian
capital of Yerevan. 65 pairs from 24 countries participated in the competition.
In total, 6 prizes of Grand Prix Final were drawn. The Georgian couple
performed in two stages and 318, 52 points were awarded to them. The finals
will be held on December 6-9 in Vancouver, Canada.
In the same period Minsk hosted the international tournament "Ice Star
2018", which comprises of Georgian performers - Irakli Maisuradze and
Alina Urushadze. 102 athletes from 16 countries participated in the tournament.
Irakli Maisuradze was awarded with 15 scores from 10 countries and took the
first place and a gold medal with the overall 209, 14 points.
