First Deputy Minister Ketevan Natriashvili and Director of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Sulkhan Sisauri talked about the details of the Contest program during a special briefing.
The Contest encourages creative young people and the development of their innovative practical skills.
Pupils of Georgian general education institutions are eligible to take part in the Contest individually or in teams. Applicants are able to register their works on the official websites of the Ministry and the Foundation www.mes.gov.ge; www.rustaveli.org.ge starting from today. Presented projects are required to contain textual description as well as a model or drawings. Electronic registration closes on November 1. Submission of works at the Foundation ends on November 11.
The winners shall be awarded with medals and money prizes. Holder of the 1st place shall receive a money prize in the amount of 5000 GEL, a 2nd place holder– 3000 GEL and a 3rd place - 2000 GEL. Grand Prix holder or holders will travel abroad in a cognitive tour.
